My Summer Makeup Routine

My Summer Makeup Routine

I’m not sure if it has something to do with my routine and college student schedule, or maybe it’s just how I grew up with a beach town lifestyle, but I just don’t like wearing ‘makeup’ every day.  When I say makeup I mean anything more than moisturizer, concealer, mascara, & lip balm.  I have a pretty strict skin-care routine and I prioritize that & sleep in the morning (and caffeine but that’s a given). glossier-emily-weiss2-613x613So I pretty much love the entire line of Glossier products launched so far, & that’s mostly because I love products that give me just enough to pull my face together but without makeup.  Glossier does just that.  I start with the rosewater face mist and then priming moisturizer to make my skin dewy without looking oily. clinique-cc-cream-reviewWhile I’m currently waiting for the restock of my shade to get my hands on the Glossier skin perfecting tint, I like to alternate between just a tint-less priming cream or a CC cream for when my skin is acting up and needs a little coverage.  If I know it will be a long day, I like to finish it off with a translucent finishing powder to curb any oil that might occur during the day. Glossier+Stretch+Concealer+in+light+-+Southern+New+YorkerNext up, concealer here & there to cover up any spots and my dark circles.  I really love this Glossier stretch concealer cause its super easy to blend just with my fingers so it’s great on the go or when I’m rushing out the door. boybrow_header_rotatedOne of the biggest parts of the ‘no makeup’ naturally pulled together look are your brows! Seriously, I rarely leave the house without atleast brushing out my brows.  Boy Brow is super easy and works great for a naturally full brow look. img_1230Second most important is mascara.  I happen to like Clinique High Impact Curling Mascara, but really any type that opens up my eyes is great.  It makes me look a little more awake and gives my blonde lashes some color. SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURESLast but most certainly not the least, a good tinted lip balm.  I love a number of tinted balms & I probably own too many, but Glossier makes a great one that packs a bit more color than others.  I bought 3 shades and am waiting for the restock this summer to snag the last one.  Tart, Burts Bees, Almay, and Clinique are also among my lip tint grave-yard.

What is your day to day routine for a fresh face?!
