My Paris Series: Place de Vosges

It has been far too long since my last MPS installment so I thought I would take this opportunity of missing Paris more than usual lately, to write about one of my favorite picnic spots in the city of light: Place de Vosges.

With the weather warming up, the typical Parisian will start to take out their lighter jackets and head over to a local green spot to enjoy the sunshine with a meal or snack.  The average Parisian picnic consists of some form of cheese, bread, wine, & a piece of fruit from a stand on the walk over.  It tucked away from the loud traffic and bustle of the city, making it a perfect little escape to eat and take a break from the hectic city. 15513361699_d81262fcfe_oOh and I can’t forget to mention that a certain Eclair shop happens to be within walking distance of this quaint little park (as if you really needed any extra convincing to visit that place).
