Graduation & I’m Moving Back to France!

Hey guys! I’m so sorry I’ve been so MIA these last couple of weeks.  My life has quite literally been turned inside-out & upside-down.  Last weekend I graduated from UC Davis (woo finally!), I moved back home to San Diego, & I also got my acceptance into the TAPIF for the upcoming Fall!!  For those who have been following along with me in my journey as an American turned Parisienne, you are aware that I was placed on the waiting-list for the Teaching Assistant Program In France, which is a US-French Government run program which hires American & Canadian citizens to teach English in French classrooms all throughout the regions of France.  I am absolutely ecstatic to share with you guys that I was placed in the Académie de Créteil to teach for the upcoming 2016-2017 school year.  Créteil is just outside of Paris, & also happens to be where my boyfriend currently works, so we couldn’t be happier.  If any of you are aware of the processes of moving abroad, I’m now embarking on the difficult journey of obtaining a Visa and all the hoops that I must jump through that go along with that.

I’m also really excited to share with you guys here first, that MPS will be undergoing a facelift in the upcoming weeks, as to better suite my style, as well as my own personal life changes. I’m hoping to share every step of my process of moving back to France with you guys, and I thought what better way to start than to update the look of my blog.

So please & thank you for your patience with me as my blog (and life) changes and grows, & I really can’t wait to share all the big changes with you guys as they happen along the way!

Also, don’t forget to follow me on Bloglovin’ & Facebook so you never miss a post!
