Rachel Susan Webber

Hi there I’m Rachel!  I’m a twenty-something student at the University of California, Davis currently completing the last year of my Bachelors of Science degree in Human Development & Psychology.  I’m passionate about Psychology & Child Development as well as French Language & Art.  I enjoy spending my free time reading and painting, but really I just spend a lot of time online shopping.

In the Fall of 2014 I moved to France for a study abroad program and found my niche in Paris.  I’ve been living and traveling between California and Paris ever since.  I’m currently in the process of taking a gap year to teach English Language in France following this year.  I have a passion for French culture and lifestyle & I hope to one day pursue writing my own novel on my experiences.  I also enjoy interior decorating, styling & editorial work in both media and literature and hope to one day work in an industry that can mix together my love of both science & art.

About My Parisienne Soul

When I first moved to Paris, I rediscovered a long-lived childhood passion for all things Fashion & Beauty.  Upon returning back home, I continued to feel this void that Paris had left me;  so I decided to start this blog as a creative outlet and space to express my own French/American lifestyle.  I wanted a space to share my experience living between two countries and cultures & how they’ve shaped my early twenties.  My Parisienne Soul incorporates my love for French style with my American upbringing.  I came up with the name My Parisienne Soul while trying to explain to friends and family the pull I feel toward the French lifestyle; and especially the draw I feel to move back to Paris.  My Parisienne Soul expresses my life of being an American with a French heart.

Make sure to follow me on Bloglovin’ to join me in my journey!
